Registration is now open for the next learning series, which will be facilitated by Jared Qwustenuxun Williams of Quw'utsun First Nation. Qwustenuxun's event, titled " The Cost of Colonization", is a two-part series that will take place on September 21st and October 19th from 6-8pm PST. During part one, Qwustenuxun will explain Indigenous agriculture, governance, economics, and family structures, and how these things can directly help mitigate climate change and a resource extraction based economies. He invites participants to sit together in discomfort, knowing that we are at the beginning of a long journey but, like those who’ve come before us, we must be brave enough to make the first step forward.
